We do a lot of interior painting in the off-season months from December to March at special discounts. A person will call in for a painting estimate or quote on interior painting ideas. We will meet up with them and bounce back some ideas on whatever they want to paint. If someone wants to paint the bedroom and is curious on an interior paint color, I can present them with a color fan deck to show them the color that I suggested to them. I will show them how to use the color fan deck to understand the house paint color. Generally if someone picks a darker color I tell them it might seem darker when the whole room is painted than the actual fan deck will indicate on that small paint sample.
If someone wants a selection of bedroom paint colors for example they might go to the store example : Benjamin Moore store and ask for the large example card. This card is so large it will give you a very good idea what it might look like these cards around 12 inches square and sometimes even larger. They’re not cheap but it’s cheaper than buying a gallon of paint and making mistake
